1 cup brown rice

½ cup lentils

4 cup water

3 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp turmeric

3 cloves

½ hot pepper

½ tsp sea salt

2 onions

How to make mujadara

1 cup of brown rice and ½ cup of lentils wash with cold water, drain the water and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.

            Turn heat to high. Put the pressure cooker on the heat, add 3 tbsp olive oil, then add 1 finally diced onion and caramelize onion until brown when it turns brown add 3 cloves, ½ cinnamon, ½ salt, 1tsp turmeric, ½ hot pepper mixed well, then add brown rice and lentil and add 4 cups of water, cook for 20 minutes. When it is ready turn of the heat.

Turns heat on high then add the 1 tbsp olive oil and add finally sliced onion caramelize until very dark when it is done set aside and add this onion on the mujadara and put this in refrigerator for 2 hrs.
